Logistics Tracking Coordinator
What will you be doing?
- Engaging our carriers to ensure tracking updates are received in a timely and accurate manner.
- Confirming that all tracking information is correct and updated in our system.
- Working with our carriers to ensure we are maximizing the utilization of our tracking systems.
- Scheduling and rescheduling pick-up and delivery appointments as needed.
- Alerting the Logistics Coordinator(s) of any anticipated or actual issues that might impact the timely pick-up and delivery of a shipment or that might put the shipment at risk of damage, theft, or loss.
- Ensuring that we receive and upload customer and carrier rate confirmations on every applicable shipment.
- Communicating with team members and customers to build strong working relationships.
- Participating in special projects as needed

Logistics Coordinator
What will you be doing?
- Identify and secure new carrier capacity that meets the demands of our customers.
- Increase the utilization of the company’s existing carrier base.
- Negotiate market competitive spot rates with carriers.
- Participate and provide carrier market guidance on customer RFQ / RFP / Bids.
- Ensure shipment requirements are clearly communicated to the carrier at the time of tender and that a signed rate confirmation is received prior to pick-up.
- Assist Logistics Account Coordinators and Logistics Account Executives in the customer quotation process.
- Proactively address and resolve issues as they arise.

What will you be doing?
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with accounts by understanding their business requirements, addressing concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborating with accounts to develop effective logistics strategies, considering factors such as mode, speed, risk, and cost.
- Increasing the utilization of the company’s existing carrier base.
- Assisting sales and operations team with customer pricing requests and bids.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and updates to accounts regarding their logistics operations.
- Proactively addressing any issues or challenges that may arise, such as delays, disruptions, or shortages. Implement effective solutions to minimize negative impacts on accounts operations.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation related to shipments, customs, and other logistics processes.
- Collaborating with carriers and other vendors to monitor performance and resolve any service-related issues for your assigned accounts.
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and service enhancement. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement and profitability of your assigned accounts.

What will you be doing?
- Leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of logistics coordinators, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitoring their performance, and providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of performance evaluations and recommending training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Coordinating with internal team, carriers, customers, and other providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, optimizing efficiency, and minimizing costs.
- Developing, securing approval, and implementing processes and procedures to improve operational effectiveness that help us achieve our organizational objectives.
